The Superb features sharp, angular styling with neat creases and refined details. Every Superb rides of smart alloy wheels, with the SE trim bringing additional chrome finishes that perfectly match its executive status. Opt for the racy SportLine trim to swap these for black details that give the Superb a subtly menacing look.
Clever details can be found all over - from the ice scraper in the fuel filler cap to the discreet ticket holder attached to the windscreen. SE L Executive models also add Virtual Pedal, where you can open the boot with a simple kicking action - perfect if you’ve got your hands full.
The spacious interior has room for five adults in comfort, with acres of legroom in both rows of seats. The large, practically-shaped boot is easily accessed by the hatchback and can be expanded by splitting and folding the rear seats, or making use of the ski hatch in the centre seat.
Every Superb is generously equipped, with a touchscreen infotainment system integrating a DAB digital radio and Bluetooth connectivity. Opt for SE trim or above and your Superb comes with driver’s lumbar support, climate control and other luxuries - including a pair of handy umbrellas that stow in the front doors. Leather upholstery is also available on upper trim levels.
There is a large range of engines you can choose from to power your Superb. Diesel engines include the ultra-efficient 118bhp 1.6-litre TDI, available in GreenLine trim with CO2 emissions starting at just 99g/km, and 2.0-litre versions with 148bhp or 187bhp.
If you prefer to drive petrol, there’s a 1.4-litre TSI with either 123bhp or 148bhp, and punchy 2.0-litre models with 217bhp or 276bhp. With manual and DSG gearboxes available, and the option of four-wheel drive so you can enjoy improved traction, handling and surefootedness.
Safety equipment is generous, with every Superb featuring stability control, seven airbags and automatic city braking to prevent a low-speed impact in stop-start traffic.
SE trim and above comes with adaptive cruise control and rear parking sensors, helping to make every journey relaxing and stress-free. Satellite navigation is a brilliant addition and operates through an enlarged touchscreen at the centre of the dashboard.
